Drugs, Cash, Illegal Gun Magazines Seized During Drug Bust: Cops
A 35-year-old man was arrested after officers executed two search warrants at his home and a storage facility on Wednesday, police say.

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY - A Brentwood man was arrested after officers seized drugs, cash and illegal gun magazines during a drug bust at his home and a storage facility in Bay Shore on Wednesday, according to Suffolk Police.
Following an investigation regarding drug activity, officers executed two search warrants at the Merrill Street home in Brentwood and at Mr. D’s Storage on 99 Pine Aire Drive in Bay Shore at about 6:50 a.m.
Police seized 80 grams of crack/cocaine, 35 grams of heroin, MDMA and Suboxone, police said.

In additional, 47 illegal large capacity 30 round AR15 and AK 47 rifles magazines were seized along with .223 rounds, AR15 parts, $18,664.00 cash and a money counting machine.
As a result, the resident of the home 35-year-old Yasir Carnegie was arrested and charged with five counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third degree criminal possession of a weapon.

"The Suffolk County Police Department will continue to utilize its resources to the fullest in order to remove drugs and illegal weapons from our communities," Suffolk Police Commissioner Geraldine Hart said. "Thanks to the diligence and commitment of our officers, the streets of Suffolk County are safer."
Carnegie is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Thursday.
