Drunken Brentwood Woman Crashes Into Pole: Police

The 21-year-old crashed into a utility pole, causing the car to overturn Sunday night, police say.

WYANDANCH, NY — A drunken Brentwood woman was arrested after crashing into a pole in Wyandanch on Sunday night, according to Suffolk Police. Brianna Williams, 21, was driving a 2016 Honda Accord westbound on Levey Boulevard when she lost control of the car and struck a utility pole at 9:20 p.m., police said.

The crash caused the Honda to overturn. Williams was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where she was treated and released.

She was later charged with a DWI.
