Drunken Central Islip Man Crashes Car Into Building: Police
The 68-year-old was hospitalized after the crash early Monday, police say.

EAST ISLIP, NY — A Central Islip man was charged with a DWI after crashing his car into a building in East Islip early Monday, according to Suffolk Police. Conrad Levesque, 68, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche on Union Boulevard when he lost control of the car and crashed into a vacant commercial building on Carleton Avenue at 12:40 a.m., police said.
He was transported to South Side Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of minor injuries. The Town of Islip Building Inspector was called to the scene to assess structural damage to the building.
Levesque was arrested and will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date, police said.
