Duo Charged With Stealing Motorcycle At Gunpoint: Police

The two forced a motorcyclist to stop and stole the vehicle earlier this week, police say.

BRENTWOOD, NY - Two men were charged with stealing a motorcycle at gunpoint in Brentwood earlier this week, according to Suffolk Police.

While in a 2019 Mitsubishi on Monday at about 6:20 p.m., Juan Torres, of Brentwood, and Raheem Martinez, of Bay Shore, both 26, chased a man riding a 2000 Honda motorcycle Meadowbrook Drive, police said.

The two then forced the motorcyclist to stop, displayed a gun and stole the motorcycle, police said.

They were later arrested.

Both were charged with first degree robbery and second degree criminal possession of a weapon.
