LONG ISLAND, NY - The father of a Brentwood woman charged with animal cruelty was arrested on Wednesday on charges in connection to the same incident that got her daughter arrested, according to the Suffolk County SPCA.

Crystal Booker, 26, was charged with one count of failure to provide proper sustenance to her dog named Grumpy on Aug. 20, the SPCA said.

Grumpy, a senior pit bull, was left for several days in the yard of a Middle Island home, unable to stand or walk, with open sores and untreated infections, according to the SPCA.
