Homeless Man Killed After Hit-And-Run Crash: SCPD
The 22-year-old died after the crash early Tuesday.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY - A homeless man was killed after a hit-and-run crash in Central Islip early Tuesday, according to Suffolk Police.
Taekwon Campbell, 22, was struck by the car travelling northbound on Lowell Avenue, north of Cypress Street, at 1:30 a.m.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.

The investigation is ongoing.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6555 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
