LI Man Charged With DWI After Car Crashes, Flips On The LIE: Police
The car crashed into the center median, injuring him just after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Suffolk police said.
BRENTWOOD, NY — A Huntington man was arrested on a drunken driving charge after he crashed his car and it flipped over in Brentwood on Tuesday, Suffolk police said.
Kenneth Honohan was driving a 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit westbound on the Long Island Expressway, near Exit 53, when he lost control of the vehicle and it struck the center median before overturning just after 6 p.m., according to police.
Honohan, 53, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of serious injuries and was charged with driving while intoxicated, police said. The Volkswagen was impounded, according to police.
