CENTRAL ISLIP, NY - The Long Island Rail Road announced that service is temporarily suspended in both directions due to a broken rail near Central Islip.
Service has been suspended between Central Islip and Ronkonkoma as of about 2 p.m.

The LIRR has secured buses and are en route.
