Brentwood Man Caught Driving Drunk With 2 Kids In Car: Police

The 37-year-old was found to be drunk with the two kids, who were both under 16, during a sobriety check point on Sunday, police say.

BRENTWOOD, NY - A Brentwood man was caught driving drunk with two kids under the age of 16 in the car in Brentwood on Sunday, according to State Police.

Arles Crespo, 37, was found to be driving drunk during a sobriety check point on the northern Sagtikos Parkway with the two kids as passengers in his car, police said.

Crespo was transported to SP Brentwood where he consented to a blood test, police said.

He was arrested for aggravated DWI under Leandra's Law and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.

Crespo was held by Suffolk County Police for arraignment.
