Man Had Car Stolen By Duo Who Rear-Ended Him: Police

After the crash, the two men stole the driver's car and fled the scene, police say.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY - A man had his car stolen after he was rear-ended in Central Islip earlier this week, according to Suffolk Police.

On Monday, a man was driving his 2002 Chevrolet on Spur Drive North at about midnight when his car was rear ended by another car. Both vehicles pulled over.

The driver walked to the rear of his car to access the damage, when a man grabbed him.

Another man went into his vehicle and fled.

The first man (the one who grabbed the driver) then fled in his vehicle, a Nissan.
