Man Hit In Head With Baseball Bat During Attempted Robbery
The man was hospitalized after the incident reported earlier this week.

BRENTWOOD, NY - A man was hit in the head with a bat during an attempted robbery in Brentwood earlier this week, according to Suffolk Police.
The incident was reported on Tuesday at about 11 p.m. on Macarthur Avenue.
The man was hit in the head with a baseball bat by someone who tried to steal his phone, police said.

The man was then transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip for treatment.
No description of the robber was available. No arrests were made.
