Man Killed In Central Islip Crash

BREAKING: The fatal crash was reported Friday morning.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY - A Central Islip man was killed in a two-car crash in Central Islip on Friday morning, according to Suffolk Police.

Christopher Alexandre, 32, was driving a 2001 Saturn westbound on Motor Parkway when his car collided with a 2019 Nissan traveling eastbound at 8:15 a.m.

Alexandre was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the Nissan, 49-year-old Eliberto Martinez, of Central Islip, was transported to Southside Hospital and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
