CENTRAL ISLIP, NY - A man was hospitalized after he was robbed and assaulted by two men in Central Islip on Saturday night, according to Suffolk Police.The man was beat up by the duo on East Suffolk Avenue at about 11:55 p.m.The duo then stole his wallet and cell phone before fleeing. CENTRAL ISLIP, NY - A man was hospitalized after he was robbed and assaulted by two men in Central Islip on Saturday night, according to Suffolk Police.

The man was beat up by the duo on East Suffolk Avenue at about 11:55 p.m.The duo then stole his wallet and cell phone before fleeing.

No description of the men were available. The man was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of minor injuries.
