The robber got out of a car being driven by a woman before robbing the man who was walking down the street, police say.
CENTRAL ISLIP - A man was robbed at knifepoint in Central Islip earlier this week.
The robbery was reported on Monday on Lowell Avenue at 4:37 p.m.
The man was walking when another man exited a car, driven by a woman, approached the him and displayed a knife.

The robber then stole cash and a cellphone before fleeing.
