After an altercation, police said the man was shot on Lexington Avenue at about 10:10 p.m. The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
