Man Shot Inside Central Islip Home: PD

A man was injured after being shot inside a Central Islip home Wednesday night, Suffolk County Police say.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — A man was injured after being shot inside a Central Islip home Wednesday night, Suffolk County Police said.

According to police, multiple gunshots were fired at a residence on St. Johns Street, between Woodlawn and Rossmore Avenues, at about 11:50 p.m. Two bullets struck an adult male who was inside the home, police said.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said. There were no other injuries.
