Man Threatens Driver, Steals Car At Knifepoint: PD

BRENTWOOD, NY — Suffolk Police are looking to identify a man who stole a car after threatening the driver with a knife in Brentwood.

According to police, a man was inside his parked 2012 Hyundai at 3:55 a.m. on Saturday, at the cross streets of Suffolk Ave. and Jefferson Ave., when he was approached by another man. The man threatened the driver with a knife; the man got out of the vehicle before the car was stolen, police said.

Police do not yet have a description of the thief.
