Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Car In Brentwood
The 44-year-old was struck while crossing the street early Saturday.

BRENTWOOD, NY - A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car in Brentwood early Saturday, according to Suffolk Police.
Jorge Flores, 44, of Brentwood was walking across Suffolk Avenue near Grant Avenue when he was struck by a 2006 Saturn SUV traveling east on Suffolk Avenue at 12:54 a.m.
Flores was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the SUV, 49-year-old Pedro Rivera, 49, also of Brentwood was not injured.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
