Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Car In Brentwood: SCPD

BRENTWOOD, NY - A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car in Brentwood on Saturday morning, according to Suffolk Police.

Waldo Perrier was driving a 2011 Dodge Ram 3500 northbound on Washington Avenue when the car struck a pedestrian who was crossing Washington Avenue near the intersection of Heyward Street at 4:10 a.m.

The pedestrian, 58-year-old Raul Antonio Granados, of Brentwood, was transported by Brentwood Legion Ambulance to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
