Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Being Hit By Car
The man was hit while crossing the street on Friday night.
BRENTWOOD, NY - A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Brentwood on Friday night, according to Suffolk Police.
Alejo Surpicio, 51, of Brentwood was driving a 2016 Toyota Camry southbound on Washington Avenue, south of Heyward Street, when his car struck a man trying to cross the avenue from west to east at 10:30 p.m.
The pedestrian, who has yet to be identified, was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore with serious injuries. Surpicio was not injured.

The car was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
