Police Release Additional Info On Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash
A homeless man was killed after being hit by two cars early New Year's Day, police said.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY - Suffolk Police released additional info on a fatal hit-and-run crash early New Year's Day.
Taekwon Campbell, 22, was walking north on Lowell Avenue in Central Islip and struck by two vehicles traveling north that stopped at the scene, remained for a short period of time and fled at about 1:30 a.m.
Campbell, who is homeless, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.

Investigators believe the first vehicle that struck Campbell was described as a black or dark-colored SUV with gray lower body side molding or paint with front end damage which was driven by a black man.
The second vehicle was described as a gray or light colored 4-door sedan with two or three occupants with possible damage to the undercarriage.
