Shot Fired During CVS Parking Lot Fight In Central Islip, Man Arrested: Police
A 43-year-old man is accused of reckless endangerment after a dispute escalated and a shot was fired, police say.
CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — A Central Islip man was arrested Sunday after a physical altercation in a parking lot escalated to gunfire, according to Suffolk County police.
Jayson White, 43, of Central Islip, was taken into custody following an incident that occurred at around 2:09 p.m. at the CVS parking lot located at 2 East Suffolk Avenue, police said.
During the altercation, one shot was fired, police said.

White has been charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
No injuries were reported.
