Suffolk County Community College President Falls Ill During Speech: Report

The 52-year-old began to feel "weak" while speaking at the Brentwood campus.

BRENTWOOD, NY - Suffolk County Community College president Shaun McKay was taken to the hospital after becoming ill while delivering a speech at the Brentwood campus Tuesday, according to a report in Newsday.

The 52-year-old stopped the speech when he began to feel "weak" during the event, Newsday reports. He was then taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore via ambulance.

He was still in the hospital as of Wednesday, but his condition is unknown.
