Teen Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Brentwood Crash: PD

The 18-year-old was driving an unregistered motorcycle when he rear-ended a car on Tuesday afternoon, police say.

BRENTWOOD, NY - A motorcyclist was seriously injured after crashing into a car in Brentwood on Tuesday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police.

Celvin Noel Nunez, 18, was driving an unregistered Kawasaki motorcycle northbound on Wicks Road, 100 feet south of Walter Street, when his motorcycle rear ended a 2007 Toyota Siena driven by Hector Landi at 3:15 p.m., police said.

Nunez, of Bay Shore, was transported by Brentwood Legion Ambulance to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore with serious injuries.

Landi, 50, of Brentwood, was uninjured. Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
