The Brighton shop's shutdown may affect your daily coffee routine, while other Upstate communities also see closures as Starbucks trims its large store network.
   

• 'What was that?' Brighton mom captures mysterious explosion on camera (whec.com) — Residents near Brighton's 12 Corners reported a loud overnight boom and bright flash of light Monday, all captured on a local mom's home camera. RG&E and Brighton police say they found no problems or evidence, echoing similar unexplained explosions previously investigated in Webster, and authorities are still unsure what caused the disturbance.
