11YO Mauled By Dogs On Her Way To School
A good Samaritan helped the child fend off the dogs.

YONKERS, NY — A little girl on her way to school was mauled by two large dogs Thursday in Yonkers. Jose Jimenes, a good Samaritan, helped 11-year-old Jaelyn Rodriguez get away from the dogs by hitting them with a trash can lid.
The animals were euthanized by authorities after they continued to act violently toward police officers, lohud.com said.
Jimenes took the child to the hospital after the attack. She was released to her mother Thursday night.
