12 Bronxville Seniors Honored As Commended Students
The seniors are among 34,000 students nationwide to be recognized for their exceptional academic achievements.

BRONXVILLE, NY — Twelve Bronxville High School seniors were recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation as Commended Students in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Spencer Blumenreich, Elizabeth Burnell, Olivia Cevasco, Thomas Cevasco, Erin Foley, Edmond Hannigan, Charlotte Harwood, Conner Huang, Christopher Kelty, Alexander Kupersmith, Molly Stoltz and Tyler Tanaka-Wong received the National Letter of Commendation award. They are among 34,000 students nationwide to be recognized for their exceptional academic achievements.
Being recognized as a Commended Student is an honor given annually to outstanding students who achieve exceptional scores on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Although Commended Students will not continue in the 2022 competition for scholarship awards, they placed among the top 50,000 students who took the qualifying test in 2020.
