2 Bronx Men Arrested For Burglarizing Eastchester Apartment
Police said they stole more than $500,000 in cash and jewelry.

EASTCHESTER, NY — Two Bronx men were arrested for stealing more than a half million dollars in cash and jewelry from an Eastchester apartment. Eastchester Police said announced Tuesday Asan Sefuloski, 28, of Mace Avenue, and Morris Santaniello, 64, Belmont Avenue, both in the Bronx were charged with second-degree grand larceny and second-degree burglary, felonies.
Eastchester Police were notified of a burglary in an apartment on Garth Road. The victim said a safe containing a large amount of cash was stolen from inside the residence , as well as jewelry and other property.
An investigation helped to identify the two suspects and a search warrant was executed in the Bronx that resulted in the arrest of one of the men and the recoery of a Tec-9 semi-automatic 9mm pistol with a high-capacity magazine, various jewelry and a large sum of U.S. currency.

A second warrant was executed in the Bronx that uncovered evidence and led to the arrest of the second man.
Further warrants, including those for banking records, were issued.

Police said a total of five search warrants were issued and executed.
Sefuloski was arraigned April 12 and free on $100,000 bail. If convicted, he faces 15 years in prison.
Santaniello was arraigned April 13 and sent to jail based on four prior felony convictions. If convicted of these crimes, he faces 25 years to life in prison.
They are scheduled to appear in Westchester County Court June 20.
