2 Sentenced For Road Rage Attack
They and others initially threatened the driver when he pulled over to exchange information after an accident.

Two Westchester men were sentenced for their participation in a 2016 road rage attack. Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino Jr. said Steven Edmondson, 29, of Elmsford, and Christopher Lopes, 27, of Yonkers, were each sentenced to nine years in prison on charges stemming from a vicious road rage attack in Yonkers in 2016.
The men were sentenced to the following to run concurrently:
- First-degree assault, felony (9 years)
- First-degree robbery, felony (9 years)
- Second-degree gang assault, felony (6 years)
- Second-degree robbery, felony (6 years)
Scarpino said, around 2:48 a.m. Oct. 23, 2016, following a minor two-car collision on South Broadway in Yonkers Edmondson, Lopes and two other unidentified occupants of Edmondson's car, threatened the driver of the other car when he puled over to exchange drivers' information.

Out of fear, the driver tried to escape by driving away and subsequently crashed his car into two parked cars.
Then, Edmondson, Lopes and the others pulled the driver out of his car ad severely beat him.

In addition, they stole the driver's wallet, which contained about $1,500 in cash.
The victim suffered life-threatening injuries to his face and neck.
Edmondson and Lopes were arrested by Yonkers police at the scene.
