2 Westchester Men Charged with Assault That Left a Maryland Man on Life Support

The defendants are from Mount Vernon and Eastchester. One is a firefighter.

Two Westchester County men face assault charges after an altercation at a Baltimore Ravens games left a man on life support.

Scott Smith, 30, a firefighter from Mount Vernon, and Andrew Nappi, 31, of Eastchester were each charged with first- and second-degree assault, the Journal News said.

ESPN.com said 55-year-old Joseph Bauer of Maryland is in critical condition, because of the fight, with a serious head injury and has a 30-percent chance of survival.

The fight occurred Sunday night, the Baltimore Sun said, and Nappi was released on $25,000 bail, while it was unclear about Smith’s status.
