Get Caught Reading @ The Bronxville Public Library!  Summer Reading Games for ALL ages.  This summer's theme is the Wild West.  No matter how young or old you are, join in for fun programs, games, and prizes.  Many thanks to the Friends of the Bronxville Public Library for their support of this program!

Children Ages 12 and Under.  Kickoff Party 6:00 pm, Tuesday, June 26.  Join us for a rootin' tootin' good time.  Register
at the children's reference desk early for a free Pony Pass--only ticket holders can ride.  Come dressed in costume because the best-dressed cowboy or cowgirl will win a prize.  Receive prizes for every five books you read!  Concerts and special events will be held throughout June, July, and August.

3rd Annual Summer Reading Game for Adults. Don't be left out.  Sign up at the adult reference desk and receive your introductory packet.  Read either fiction or nonfiction or a combination of both relating to the theme and you, too, can win prizes.

There’s much more planned, of course, including book discussion groups, and what looks to be a truly innovative program, “Wag Your Tale and Read” which will bring therapy dogs to the library to listen to books read by your child, aged seven or older.

Linda also confirmed the summer hours for the library, which will be:

June 1 to Labor Day:

Sunday:  CLOSED
Mon., Wed., Fri.:  9:30 am to 5:30 pm
Tues.:  1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Thurs.:  1:00 pm to 5:30 pm
Sat.:  9:30 am to 1:00 pm

For more details on these and other events at the library this summer, be sure to check the library’s website.

In the meantime, enjoy the sunny start to the week, folks.
