Alert Issued for Missing Vulnerable Adult Who May Be Suicidal

Police said the man may be in need of medical attention.

YONKERS, NY — The Yonkers City Police Department has issued a missing vulnerable adult alert for a 57-year-old man who may be suicidal.

Raymond Ortiz, police said, is paranoid schizophrenic, developmentally disabled and could be suicidal.

He was last seen leaving St. Joseph’s Hospital in Yonkers at 4:30 a.m. Sunday, October 2.

Oritz is a white male who is 5 feet, 11 inches and weighs 170 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Oritz was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, blue jeans and blue-and-white sneakers.

Police said he may be in need of medical attention.
