Happy to do a walk through of the project I was able to retain $2.6 million for

Yesterday, I toured the flood mitigation project taking place in Bronxville with Village Manager Jim Palmer.

I was proud to secure $2.6 million in Westchester County funding to help address the longstanding flooding impacting neighborhoods in Bronxville and Eastchester near Iona University and Route 22.

For years, residents in this area of District 15 have dealt with severe flooding that has damaged homes, property, and everything families have worked hard for. This project will help retain and manage stormwater during heavy rainfall, reducing flooding and better protecting surrounding neighborhoods.

Flood mitigation and infrastructure have remained major priorities of mine since taking office. We can't control when the next major storm will hit, but we can invest in the infrastructure needed to better protect our communities.

I'll continue working to secure funding and deliver projects that protect the residents, homes, and neighborhoods of District 15. #RollinWithNolan
