Colavita Apparent Winner In Eastchester Supervisor Race

Incumbent Supervisor Anthony S. Colavita was being challenged by Democrat Michael P. Denning.

EASTCHESTER, NY — Voters in Eastchester went to the polls Tuesday to decide who will be the next supervisor. According to unofficial results, incumbent Anthony S. Colavita, a Republican won over Democratic challenger Michael P. Denning, 56 percent to 44 percent, with 94 percent of precincts reporting.

Glenn D. Bellitto and Joseph D. Dooley, both incumbent Republicans, were unopposed for town council.

Linda Doherty Laird, an incumbent Republican, was unopposed for town clerk.

Incumbent Republicans Frederic Salanitro and Janet R. Calano were unopposed for town justice.

Receiver of Taxes Rocco N. Cacciola, a Republican and the incumbent, was unopposed.
