Arson Suspected in Yonkers Apartment Fire
A firefighter suffered a minor injury while battling the blaze.

A second floor apartment was gutted by fire early Monday in Yonkers and arson is suspected, according to fire officials.
The Journal News reports a firefighter suffered minor injuries battling the blaze, but the family who lives in the apartment was not in the Ravine Avenue home at the time. No other injuries were reported.
“We have indicators that clearly this was arson,” Assistant Fire Chief John Flynn told The Journal News, declining to elaborate.
