Barbara Nuzzi, Tuckahoe's School Superintendent, Resigns
Dr. Nuzzi has held the position for two years.
Dr. Barbara Nuzzi, superintendent of the Tuckahoe School System, has resigned effective Sept. 1, 2015.
News 12 Westchester reports that Nuzzi tendered her resignation to the Board of Education Wednesday during a board meeting. The resignation is because she is retiring, officials said.
Nuzzi, whose annual salary is $235,000, had signed a three-year contract in 2013. She came to the Tuckahoe district from the Putnam Valley Central School District where she served as superintendent.

Who the district will turn to as the next superintendent, and how that individual will be selected, has not yet been determined, but the board is expected to meet soon to start that process.
