Bronxville Police Blotter: Two Bikes Reported Missing

A look at some of the incidents investigated by the Bronxville Police Department.

Sept. 23:

11:12 a.m. Police said the license plate reader indicated that a car being driven on Pondfield Road had a suspended registration. The driver, a Manhattan resident was issued a summons and the car, a 2002 Mercedes, was impounded. The driver is due in court on October 7.

12:31 p.m. A Parkway Road resident reported to police that two bikes were taken from his garage. The resident said the bikes—a 26-inch mountain bike worth $250 and a 24-inch mountain bike worth $50—went missing sometime between September 21 at 3 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Sept. 27:

10:59 a.m. A Stoneleigh Plaza resident reported that his car had been broken into. The resident told police the incident occurred sometime between 5 p.m. on September 25 and 10:30 a.m. on September 27. Police said the passenger side window of the 2006 Honda was broken and that the driver's side airbag and a Garmin GPS had been taken.
