Chosen out of 150 entries from students in kindergarten through fifth grade, the winning design will be the central logo for the 2021 Memorial Day festivities, swag and advertisements. Members of the elementary school PTA narrowed down the submissions before Student Council members chose the top three finalists and, ultimately, the winner.
“The creativity and dedication on display, through our students’ artwork, has been so inspiring,” teacher Derrick DiRienzo said. “Year after year our students meet this challenge with enthusiasm and excitement. It has become a special tradition here in Bronxville.”
