Bronxville, Tuckahoe and Eastchester Pass School Budgets

Bronxville, Tuckahoe and Eastchester all passed their respective school budgets by strong margins, according to preliminary vote tallies.

The Bronxville budget of $46,446,335 is “compliant with the tax cap and represents a tax levy increase of 1.3 percent,” officials said, adding that it “supports a number of teaching positions associated with rising enrollment and new role, Director of Technology.”

Residents in all three communities voted nearly three-to-one in favor of the budgets. Eastchester’s proposed spending plan is $79.9 million, and Tuckahoe’s is $32 million.

Bronxville voters also approved a plan to renovate Hayes Field.
