Bronxville, Tuckahoe Village Elections Set For Tuesday
There are contested races for voters to decide in both villages.
BRONXVILLE, NY โ Voters in the villages of Bronxville and Tuckahoe have decisions to make Tuesday when the long-postponed elections finally take place. Because of the new coronavirus pandemic, the elections were postponed until Sept. 15 by order of the governor.
In Bronxville, there are two, two-year village trustee jobs on the line, as well as a village justice position. In Tuckahoe, there is a contested race for trustee.
The Bronxville trustee candidates are (vote for two):

- Mark Wood, incumbent, Bronxville Citizens for Responsible Government, Republican
- Helen Knapp, incumbent, Bronxville Citizens for Responsible Government, Republican
- Mary Taylor Behrens, Democratic, Bronxville Now
The choices for village justice are (vote for one):
- George Mayer, incumbent, Bronxville Citizens for Responsible Government, Republican
- Natasha Nordahl, Democratic, Bronxville Now
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Christ Church, 18 Kensington Road; Bronxville Village Hall, Courtroom, 200 Pondfield Road, and Bronxville Fire House, between Palumbo Place and Midland Avenue.

In the village of Tuckahoe, there were two, two-year trustees positions up for grabs.
The candidates are:
- Danny Lang, incumbent, Republican, Conservative, Tuckahoe First, Independence
- Bert Baldassarra, Republican, Conservative, Tuckahoe First, Independence
- Cara Kronen, Democratic, Nonpartisan, Tuckahoe Together
- Omayra Andino, incumbent, Democratic, Nonpartisan, Tuckahoe Together
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Tuckahoe Community Center, 71 Columbus Ave.
