Join the Westchester Community for Humanistic Judaism for our annual "Havdalah Under the Sun". Find out more about Humanistic Judaism and about our congregation. A Havdalah service will be conducted by Rabbi Frank Tamburello. Humanistic songs will be performed by <a href="https://www.rebeccalynngoldfarb.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Rebecca Goldfarb</a>.The event is free, but non-members must bring <a href="https://www.ubme.com/event/12f968ee-fa64-4968-9778-28d307eb7b8b" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">tickets</a>. Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum

Come to the Great Lawn at Bartow-Pell for a market treasuring hunting experience, and perhaps take home a piece of local history!
The mansion is cleaning out cabinets and clearing closets, getting ready for an extensive Capital Renovation Project through the NYC Department of Parks Capital Division. It’s an exciting time, and we’ve got work to do!
The Bartow-Brocante Market is looking for good homes for some recently deaccessioned collection pieces. For transparency, these pieces will be clearly marked as deaccessioned and sold at a fair market price with all proceeds restricted to the direct care of Bartow-Pell’s permanent collection and/or the acquisition of new pieces that align will the museum’s Collection Policy.
Bartow-Pell will also be offering some items from our non-accessioned collections, including our Teaching, Costumes, and Exhibitions Collections, as well as some reference books from our library. A few of these items will be free or at a very low cost. This is a great opportunity to own a piece of local history!
We’ll also have a table or two dedicated to community-donated treasures. If you are interested in contributing to Bartow-Pell’s Community Table, please email Bartow-Pell’s Museum Administrator, Susan Chesloff at schesloff@bpmm.org. We’ll be happy to acknowledge your donation!

Demystifying Medicare&nbsp;is perfect for anyone trying to navigate our complicated healthcare system for older adults. The workshop is for people who already have Medicare, as well as those soon to be 65, planning their retirement, or assisting relatives and friends with their medical decisions.
Demystifying Medicare is offered as part of the ongoing work of the Westchester Library System to provide authoritative, actionable information that supports seniors in being connected and well-informed. In this free, engaging session you will learn about the various parts of Medicare and the costs associated with medical and drug insurance provided by the government and private companies.
Topics include original Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, prescription drug plans (Part D), Medigaps (supplemental plans), and cost-saving programs like EPIC that can help seniors with limited resources.
Come and get a handle on this thorny subject in a user-friendly atmosphere. Plan on at least 3 hours to include some lighthearted interactivity and questions; pre-registration requested at&nbsp;(914) 231-3236.
