Campaign To Help Victims Of Massive Apartment Fire In Yonkers
A Bronxville business has started a GoFundMe campaign to help the 150 residents made homeless by the devastating 10-hour blaze.

Members of the community are raising money to help the 150 residents burned out of their homes in a devastating fire March 12 in Yonkers. In six days, a GoFundMe campaign created by Ladle of Love in Bronxville has raised $22,973 of its $50,000 goal.
The destructive fire, which started on the sixth floor of the apartment building at 15 Parkview Ave., near the Bronxville border, burned for 10 hours as firefighters from across the city and neighboring communities worked to contain it and prevent it from spreading to nearby buildings.
"We’re raising funds to aid these families and help them survive and rebuild as they have lost everything they own and have been forced to start from scratch," the organizers said. "100% of the funds raised will be distributed directly to the residents. A lot of a little goes a long way so please donate, share and spread the word. Our community and neighbors need help!"
