This workshop is designed to assist both new and current facilitators in honing their ability to resolve conflict, develop skills to assess tone and potential challenges, and create a personal protocol for when discourse go sideways. In addition, we will explore power dynamics and privilege and how they apply to both the facilitator and participants within the context of mediated dialogue. Sponsored by the DAPS Committee. DAPS is the event planning and funding arm of the Office of Diversity & Campus Engagement. For more information, please contact daps@sarahlawrence.edu. Light dinner served.
