Eastchester FD To Get New Pumper Trucks

EASTCHESTER, NY — Three aging pumper trucks at the Eastchester Fire Department will be replace early next year. The new trucks will cost about $600,000 each.

The old pumper trucks are constantly being replaced, and one of them dates back to 1999, the Journal News said.

When the new equipment is put into service, one of the old ones will be turned into a spare truck, with the rest sold at auction.
