Eastchester Fire Commissioner Election to Be Held Tuesday

One commissioner will be chosen for a five-year term

EASTCHESTER, NY — The Eastchester Board of Fire Commissioners will hold an election Tuesday, Dec. 13 to appoint one member to the board for a five-year term.

The board oversees a budget of $16.9 million for 2017, according to information provided by the district, and is responsible for general administration, appointment of department personnel and the adoption of the annual budget for the department which serves Eastchester, Bronxville and Tuckahoe.

Voting will take place between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The places for voting are as follows:

EASTCHESTER:
Eastchester Town Hall, 40 Mill Road - Districts: 6, 7, 8, 9, 24, 25, 26, 28, 30, 37, 38 & 39
LeRoy Gregory Post # 979, 40 Bell Rd, behind Equinox Gym, Eastchester Districts: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 23, 27, 29, 34 & 36
Union Corners Fire Station, 10 Oregon Avenue Districts: 15, 31, & 35
TUCKAHOE:
Tuckahoe Community Center, 71 Columbus Ave, Tuckahoe Districts: 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 32 & 33
BRONXVILLE:
Bronxville Village Hall, 200 Pondfield Rd. Districts: 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 & 22 (All Bronxville Village)
