Eastchester Fish Gourmet Slammed by Car

No injuries were reported in the Monday crash.

A car driven by a 79-year-old slammed through the front of Eastchester Fish Gourmet Monday, causing a mess and temporarily shuttering the popular seafood restaurant.

No injuries were reported in the afternoon crash, which occurred while the restaurant was closed. The elderly driver apparently stepped on the accelerator instead of the brakes, writes News 12 Westchester.

Kitchen staff were inside the White Plains Road eatery at the time, heard the crash and rushed out to find the car in the middle of the dining room.
