Eastchester Man Killed in Oregon in Hiking Fall
The investigation into the 20-year-old's death remains open, but foul play is not suspected.
EASTCHESTER, NY — A man from Eastchester was killed Tuesday after he fell from a hiking trail in Oregon.
Francesco Goncalves, 20, was with friends on the Eagle Creek Trail in the Columbia River Gorge when he fell approximately 70 feet into Punchbowl Falls, the Journal News said.
The Hood River County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation into Goncalves’s death remains open, but no foul play is suspected.
