Eastchester Police Searching for Female Bank Robber
The theft occurred at about 1 p.m. Thursday, and no weapon was displayed. Additionally, no injuries were reported.
A woman, described as Hispanic and about 5-feet-5-inches tall, robbed the Country Bank on Garth Road in Eastchester Thursday, making off with an unknown amount of cash, reports The Journal News.
According to police, the woman handed a teller a note but did not display a weapon. She grabbed the cash and ran out of the bank onto Garth Road. No injuries were reported.
She was described as wearing a jacket and a white hooded sweatshirt. Eastchester Police are asking that anyone with information about the incident call at 914-961-3464.
