UPDATE: Eastchester Schools Lock Out Lifted: Spokeswoman

There was an anonymous call made.

UPDATE—Wednesday, May 11, 2016, 2 p.m.: A spokeswoman for the Eastchester Union Free School District said the schools had been under lock out.

She said the Eastchester Police Department lifted the lock out of all Eastchester Schools.

Dismissals will proceed on regular schedules, and all after school and evening events and activities will go on as scheduled.

There are media reports of Eastchester schools being on lockdown, due to a suicidal person on White Plains Road.

Scott McGee of News12 said there is no visual confirmation at this time of the person.
