Eastchester Traffic & Parking Advisory Committee Resumes Public Meetings

After a two month break for the summer season, the Eastchester Traffic & Parking Advisory Committee (TPAC) will be back in session Wednesday afternoon, at a regular meeting in the Meeting Room set for 7 p.m.

TPAC meetings, held six times a year, are open to the public, with the purpose of allowing residents to voice traffic and parking concerns before they are brought to the Town Board. The Committee, chaired by Tom Andruss, has ten members, and are usually joined at meetings by  Lt. Jeffrey Hunter and Town Board liaison Councilman Joseph Dooley. Meetings typically last about two hours.

At tonight's meeting, a number of "old business" issues will be treated, including traffic and parking concerns in the areas of Lake Shore Drive, California at Hewitt, Main Street and Route 22 Intersection, and Lower Montgomery Avenue Parking. Parking meter payment alternatives will also be discussed.

"New business" agenda items include the North End Area Parking.
